Smart Siam Limited is an owner-managed, family company based in Bangkok.
Founded as a technology and marketing consultancy in 2009 (2552), we were initially active in online marketing.
We had set ourselves the target of simplifying the job search for foreign employees in Thailand. Additionally, we liked to make the search for suitable expatriates easier for employers in Thailand. The result was a job board for expatriates. The response of the expatriate community was overwhelming, be it on LinkedIn or the website. But the resonance from employers and HR consultants was limited, so we had to decide to discontinue this service in 2012.
As of today, Smart Siam Limited and our new subsidiary Smart Siam Consulting Limited (founded 2021) supporting companies with market-entry, market development, region management, sales services, consulting, and training in Asia & Oceania.
Access to the Asian markets, which are also significant for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), is repeatedly characterized by a lack of cultural understanding and the random selection of local business partners. The proportion of failed engagements is correspondingly high. In addition to spatial, linguistic, and temporal distance, there are often misunderstandings in business dealing and procedures.
We are happy to support you by taking over regional sales management on site. We are also available as a local sales partner.

Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. (FH) Mario Zerbe
The founder, owner, and CEO of Smart Siam Group is a businessman with more than 20 years of management experience. He served in companies of different sizes ranging from start-ups to small and medium-sized companies and even large global players. He worked for hidden champions to widely internationally recognized brands. Living in Asia since 2007, he has a wealth of experience in consulting, technical management, Asia-Pacific and Oceania region management, sales, and general management roles.
Mr. Zerbe is on-demand as a technical expert, consultant, and speaker on various events in various countries around Southeast Asia. He speaks German, English, and Thai.
Mrs. Nutpatsorn Zerbe, B.A.
As a founder, owner, and CMO of Smart Siam Group she is in charge of corporate communication. Mrs. Zerbe started her career as Radio DJ when she was 16 years only.
Today she is a recognized Radio- and TV host, Journalist, Columnist, and very experienced event manager. Mrs. Zerbe takes care of the marketing, events, and public relations of the company. She speaks Thai, German, and English.
